A cable running between two blocks of Stanway Court (45-88 and 114-125) has become detached from its catenary wire and is drooping down close to the roof of the garages, across the sunken area outside the community centre, and not far above the heads of people on the path which links Falkirk Street and Shenfield Street.

I have only just noticed this today, but on checking the historic Google Streetview imagery it turns out that the cable became detached some time between 2012 and 2014! So it appears to be stable to some extent but has become lower over the years and obviously needs to be rectified some time soon before an extra-strong gust of wind or other event brings it any lower.
