Pedestrian crossing

Reported via iOS in the Parking related road markings category anonymously at 00:49, Saturday 14 November 2020

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

Pedestrian crossing on Lordship Park by Queen Elizabeth Walk. The white paint which alerts drivers has worn off and needs repainting urgently. This crossing is used by many children going to school and so is now very dangerous as the paint is not really visible to drivers

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Hackney Council regarding the faded road markings on Lordship Park.

The Council is committed to providing a pleasant environment for all road users, as a result, I have arranged for the Zebra crossing on Lordship Park to be refreshed as you requested in order to improve the walking environment for pedestrians and to make motorists aware they are approaching a formal crossing point. I anticipate the works to be completed by the end of the week commencing 23rd November 2020.

I trust you find the above information useful.

    State changed to: Fixed
