A Cycle Hangars problem has been found

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
I have recently moved into a flat in Finsbury Park (N4 2LF) and would like to store my bike in one of the secure cycle hangars that you supply. Unfortunately when I went to purchase a slot on the council website I found that all in my surrounding area have a waiting list of varying lengths. This is understandable as they are a great facility however frustratingly when I pass a number of these lock ups they are either empty or have 1 or 2 bikes stored in there at any time of day. I understand it is unlikely you will be able to help but I have no option to store my back in my own residence and am uncomfortable to leave it locked to a lamp post on the street for obvious reasons so any assistance or advice you can provide would be much appreciated.
I have enquired with the Finsbury Park Station bike store but that is also full so I really am short of options.
Hi Danny - unfortunately all the spaces in your area are rented. We don't set preconditions in relation to how often a space or bike is used, as there are a multitude of reasons why a bike may not be in a hangar for a period of time. We are instead focused on increasing the number of spaces we can offer. Hackney currently has the highest number of hangars of any local authority in London, and are in the process of installing 100 more hangars this year. Do register your interest in a space via our website ( https://licences.hackney.gov.uk:7443/ sf/ control/ dashboard ). Thanks, Hackney Cycle Hangar Team
