Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
I was in Clissold Park with its lovely ponds & bird life today (Tuesday) 14 July 2020.
It was a real pleasure to be there.
However, I noticed a great deal of algae on the water surface in the Park.
More worrying, perhaps, I saw a significant amount of waste plastic in the Park.
Of particular concern, was the plastic floating on the water.
For example, I saw a Moorhen, thinking the plastic was food, sought to eat it.
Given that Clissold Park, & similar Green Spaces across Hackney, are such a wonderful communal resource, especially in the Covid 19 era, I believe it would be tremendous to improve these living environments.
