Lights on 24/7

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 09:53, Tuesday 19 May 2020

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

Chelsfield Point, Penshurst Rd E9 In December 2018 I went to Hackney Town Hall to report that the exterior lights around Chelsfield Point were operating 24 hours per day-an obvious waste of electricity. After several more reports, sometimes by telephone, some by Fixmystreet, eventually a working timer was added to the lights. This system worked for a very short time, and now the lights are on 24/7 again. I reported it via Fixmystreet in March 2020 and was told the message would be passed to the appropriate people. They have still not been sorted. There are 17 lights around the ground floor of Chelsfield Point, needlessly wasting electricity. Surely something can be done. How long does it actually take?
