Street light glare

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 10:19, Saturday 9 May 2020

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

Hey guys

I live at 180 queens bridge road, on the corner of Brownlow road

The back garden as soon as the street light comes on is completely unusable the brightness of the bulb blinds everyone in the garden triggering headaches and distress and we have no choice but to go inside.

This is also affecting various bedrooms in the house, at night keeping people awake from the distressing glare,

Id like to enquire about getting this looked at to be moved, or what solutions we have

Im confused why its even needed as there is a streetlight not only 10 metres next to it and on the adjacent street scrubland road there probably 200 metres between the lamp posts,

Please if you can do anything to help, specially as were spending all our time at home at the minute,

See link and ive attached images of the light in question.
