Deteriorating reinstatement at Crondall St j/w Hoxton Street

Reported in the Potholes category by Trevor Parsons at 00:59, Monday 20 January 2020

Sent to Hackney Council 1 minute later

A wholly inadequate infill repair at the junction of Crondall Street and Hoxton Street is in the process of falling apart, scattering gravel and creating a hazardous surface, most particularly for two-wheeled traffic as it turns south to west and vice-versa. The combination of progressively more uneven surface, loose gravel and smooth steel water inspection covers is especially hazardous in wet conditions.

Please ensure that contractors are briefed and funded to close this junction long enough to do a decent, sufficiently widespread topical resurfacing of what is currently a patchwork quilt of quick fixes under intense pressure from the power steering of vehicles on the recently established Bevenden St / Pitfield St / Crondall St / Falkirk St rat run.
