Pedestrian crossing light has been removed
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 00:16, Tue 3 July 2018
Sent to Hackney Council 2 weeks, 1 day, 15 hours, 49 minutes later
Some work was carried out recently and it appears that the pedestrian crossing light (green man / red man) has been removed from next to the chemist on the corner.
This is a problem when crossing Stoke Newington Church Street, from the park to the chemist.
It's now quite dangerous, as we don't know when to cross the road. Instead people seem to guess and then run across the road when they think it's probably the right time to cross.
Could the light be replaced or if not, could someone explain the best way to cross the road?
Thanks, Mike Stevenson.
