These two manhole covers near the pavement are loose and bang whenever a vehicle drives over them. It's a busy road, so it happens all the time, and has been going on for a couple of months.

  • The two plates are still banging away, as loud as ever. I think FixMyStreet is a brilliant idea, but from this experience it doesn't work.

  • Plates still banging loudly whenever a vehicle goes over them. Presumably they will have to collapse and a car wreck itself and plough into pedestrians before action is taken.

  • I've emailed TfL myself. No answer. Public workers get paid huge salaries to do very little. Even answering an email is too much effort.
