Huge pothole in northbound carriageway of Green Lanes

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:49, Mon 6 November 2017

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

There's a massive pothole in the northbound carriageway of Green Lanes, going down the hill, that has been there for long enough that regular drivers know to swerve round it, which is a bit alarming for anyone coming up the hill. But then again, it's a bit alarming to drive through, as it's now deep enough that cars scrape their undersides going through it, and I've seen a cyclist come off their bike in it.

I think it's probably about time to fix this, maybe as an early Xmas present to anyone using the road. :)

  • Really quick, polite response and a very quick fix. They've also repaired several smaller potholes in the same area, and done an impeccable job of it, so great all round.
