Cars on the pavement Reported anonymously at 22:52, Wed 10 February 2016 The pavement at this point is quite wide and for many years there have been motorists assuming that this means they have a right to park here. Parking on the pavement is illegal. Why doesn't the council make it into official car parking spaces and charge them for the privilege? Self-entitled motorists seem to think it's their right to park anywhwere. Give them an inch and they'll take a mile. So why shouldn't the council take their money and spend it on better facilities for those who walk?
