Removed dropped kerb Reported anonymously at 16:16, Thu 23 July 2015 Up until recently there was a dropped kerb on the pavement on Northwold Road, adjacent to Stoke Newington Common and directly across from the beginning of Kyverdlale Road. It appears that there have been roadworks recently and as a result a very high, steep kerb has been installed instead. This cuts off an important bike route up from Jenner Road allowing cyclists to avoid the Stoke Newington gyratory, and also prevents wheelchairs or prams from crossing the road here as there are no crossing nearby. Strongly suggest that the dropped kerb be restored as a minimum, although it would be more appropriate for there to be a controlled pedestrian and cyclist crossing here.
