Inconsiderate use of residents parking bay

Reported anonymously at 00:57, Fri 4 June 2021

This motorcycle is parked in an inconsiderate manner. The use of this space takes up a possible car space that the residents on Prince George road are unable to use. Currently in hackney motorcycle parking is free whereas those residents with cars have to pay a lot of money to be issued with a residents permit. On occasions some residents are unable to find an adequate space to park their vehicle. Most residents would like to allocate a parking space outside their home but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that. This person seems to also leave cones out within this space if they are out in order to guarantee they will have this space once they return, to prevent anyone else parking here. A few residents have raised concerns about this and we feel that this person is acting inconsiderately to the other road users. A more appropriate means of parking this motorcycle would be at 90 degrees to the curb which will be more than adequate space to park a motorcycle safely whilst not obscuring more space than is needed.
